 About The Hall

The hall is used regularly by different Clubs and Organisations, but can also be hired for one-off events such as Wedding Receptions, Parties, Dances, Fund Raising Events, etc.

A Committee Room is also available, which will comfortably seat 12 - 18 people depending on layout.

The day to day running of the Parish Hall is carried out by a Management Committee consisting of volunteers who are elected annually. The main hirers and users are requested to provide a member from their organisation to serve on the Committee. There is a Caretaker and a Letting Agent who have specific responsibilities.

Facilities

Hire of the Hall includes the use of:

• 15 x 6 ft trestle tables with chairs to match.
• A quantity of mixed cutlery and china is kept in unlocked storage cupboards in the kitchen. The cupboards fitted with locks are for the use of regular clubs and organisations.
• 120 place white china settings (including plates, side plates, bowls, cups and saucers and cutlery), these are kept in the storage cupboards in the Bar Room.
• Hot water urn.
• Domestic electric cooker, fridge and freezer.

Useful Information

Useful information for hirer.

• The licence allows a maximum of 120 people seated or 100 people dancing.
• The main hall floor area is approximately 12m long and 8m wide with a stage area 3.4m deep.
• There are two double sockets in the main hall, one on each side of the front of the stage.
• Main Hall light switches are on the wall next to steps onto the stage on the right hand side.
• Additional tables and chairs are kept in the Store Room off the Lobby.
• Should heating be required the thermostat is on wall in lobby.
