Broom Village Hall
About The HallThe Village Hall at Broom is a single level, purpose built building with a large entrance foyer with modern Ladies and Gents toilet facilities and to the rear of the main hall, a fully equipped kitchen. A wide hatch services the hall from the kitchen. The building is licensed for functions for up to 100 people. The Performing Rights Society Licence and a limited Gaming Licence is held. The building has regular documented safety inspections for fire, evacuation and electrical safety and is fully insured. The extent of event insurance would be detailed at the time of booking. Smoking is prohibited throughout the facility. The Hall is currently used by a number of Clubs, Groups and Pre-School activities, but access for other users, parties etc. is usually available by prior arrangement, especially at weekends.
FacilitiesThe Hall is fully accessible on one level from the entrance path to all areas by wheelchair. A modern toilet for disabled users, with an alarm, has also been provided. The main hall consists of a large room 15m long by 7.5m wide. It has a high peaked ceiling with wood beams which makes it ideal for sports such as badminton. The attractive wooden floor has full badminton court markings. Tables and chairs to suit the maximum number of users are stored to the rear. The hall is well lit by both natural and artificial light and is fully central heated by means of radiators. |
